Dismantling Ancestral Altars: A Step-by-Step Tactical Guide

Many believers encounter limits in their careers, health, and relationships that seem to repeat generationally. Often, these limits are governed by ancestral altars—spiritual platforms erected by predecessors that continue to speak legally in the spirit realm.
An altar is a meeting point between the physical and the spiritual. It is where covenants are formed, sacrifices are offered, and spirits are given legal authorization to govern a lineage. If an ancestor dedicated their household to a power, that dedication acts as a standing agreement until legally revoked.

Gideon could not deliver Israel until he first dealt with the altar in his father's house. Similarly, we must identify and tear down the silent agreements that limit our expansion. This is done not through physical force, but through spiritual prosecution in the Courts of Heaven.
How to Revoke Ancestral Altars
- Identify the Patterns: Trace your family tree. Is there a pattern of premature death, divorce, sudden bankruptcy, or mental distress? These are indicators of active altars.
- Perform Bloodline Repentance: Stand as a priest for your family. Ask for forgiveness for the covenants made by ancestors, using Nehemiah 1:6 as a protocol.
- Present the Covenant of Adonai: Declare that the Blood of Yeshua has broken the legal claim of Baal or any ancestral spirit over your lineage.
